Celebrate!250, Albemarle-Charlottesville Historical Society, Jefferson Thanksgiving.
This festival will feature all day living history in Court Square and Lee Park. In addition, the festival includes lectures and panel discussions. It will begin with a Memorial Ceremony to honor soldiers buried at the UVa Cemetery on May 26 at 11am. On Sunday, May 27 at 2 pm, the Time Capsule, that was buried in 1962, will be unearthed.
