The 1920s in Harlem saw a flourishing African-American culture emerge, as many talented artists celebrated their heritage and took pride in their ancestors and themselves. Through drama and music, Of Ebony Embers brings to life some of the most significant African-American men who helped shape this era, connecting their lives and works.
